Charbonnel Black 55985 has high viscosity and is difficult to wipe. This ink is an intense black and designed for aquatint plates where a mottle free, jet black is essential. It is a very deep, slightly blue-black and can be used to strengthen other blacks. The Charbonnel Aqua Wash range is an oil based ink that can be washed out in soapy water. These inks are solvent free and are of high quality. As these inks have a high concentration of pigments they are extremely lightfast and durable. The Charbonnel Aqua Wash can be used for all intaglio techniques, aquatint, monotypes and relief printing. Please note colours may differ slightly from the image shown
